As a Technology Support Advisor, you will help develop your team members' careers and coordinate any additional training as needed with leadership support. You will also represent ADP as the second level of client-escalated issues. You'll develop an action plan and oversee resolution efforts for payroll processing. Plus, you will provide direct feedback to associates on opportunities to enhance services provided to clients.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Here's what you can expect on a typical day in the life of a Technology Support Advisor at ADP.

Provide leadership and act as recognized expert on application, product functionality and applicable business practices proving timely and accurate solutions to ADP Clients and internal NAS Lifion business partners including Client Services, Product Support and Implementation. Acts as expert source of application knowledge within their domain or area of expertise. Including creating and delivering semi-formal training on key system/application concepts.

Act as the liaison between all groups in NAS Lifion to determine and communicate the best solution for our clients. This may consist of working with any Client contact (Payroll Manager, HRIS, HRBP, Finance or Client CIO) or ADP group (NAS, MAS, Corporate or IT) associated with resolving user experience issues and use of applications on various platforms. Also responsible for bridging the Engineering and Development functions for the Service organizations in NAS Lifion for all supported system/application, managing multiple types of cases varying size, duration and scope.

Handle more complex and technically taxing issues and/or serve as an escalation point before involving Development/Engineering. This may include creating and delivering semi-formal training on key system/application concepts or on call generating tasks in an effort to reduce call volume. Provide expert level conception, creation and support for client applications used in NAS, focusing on case aging, timely updates, call reduction and reporting. Effectively communicate resolution to organization. Ensures resolution is carried out in line with World Class quality standards. Coordinate communication with other functional areas to educate and expedite response to critical client solution.

Analyze the effectiveness of new/revised processes, procedures, and products for efficient operations and effective client experience by monitoring and reporting potential issues which may impact results. Develop, align and implement department standards/processes, promoting standardization and reinforcing the knowledge management strategy ensuring maintenance of Knowledge Base for recording workarounds and Best Practices.

You have at least 5-8 years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

Experience in a Help Desk / Technical Application support/ Technical Analyst or similar role, including experience with the following technologies:

PL/SQL

Oracle SQL Developer,

Microsoft SQL Server

debugging code

Windows/Linux Scripts

Strong business acumen with experience applying technology to key processes driving client satisfaction and increased business opportunity.

Leadership skills, including experience executing initiatives focused on desired outcomes, seeking collaborative working relationships and acting as liaison with internal and external partners.

Analytical thinking – applies data to problem solving, builds information and knowledge based facts. Uses analytical techniques to clarify ambiguous situations and uses these techniques to forecast and improve business performance.

Strong technical aptitude commensurate with application(s) supported.

Project management and problem resolution skills. Ability to handle multiple changing priorities while maintaining order and progress.

You'll have a Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Information Technology, Computer Science OR equivalent.

For additional comfort in the role, you will have certifications as applicable based on product(s) supported. Examples include:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

Background in Program Management, Project Management and have demonstrated leadership qualities

Experience working in an ADP Region or EDP/R&D Group is preferred

Business Acumen -- applies technology to key processes driving client satisfaction and increased business opportunity.

Leadership Skills -- executes initiatives focused on desired outcomes. Seeks collaborative working relationships.

Establishes deep network outside the company including technology and third party resources.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.
