The ideal candidate will provide stellar customer service and possess communication skills that enable them to solve the varying levels of technical needs of our clients. Additionally, the candidate should have a keen eye for attention to detail, meticulous documentation, and the ability to work independently when assigned.
The Help Desk Engineer will be responsible for providing Tier 1-2 support and handling technology such as: desktop workstations & laptops, servers, VoIP and Hosted phone systems, networks, email, printers, line of business software, file sharing services, and Microsoft products. Most environments are Windows based with some Macs.
Due to the requirements of the job function, this role must be performed full-time onsite at ClearFuze's Santa Monica office and requires proof Covid-19 vaccination.
Responsibilities include:
Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, server, printer and network related issues
Respond to support calls, emails and web-based requests for technical issues in a timely manner
Install, modify and maintain an office network environment
Administer and support Active Directory, DNS & Microsoft Exchange replication
Provide support for Office 365
Support Microsoft Windows server technologies (2008-2016) operating systems, Exchange, DNS and Active Directory, and virtualization platforms
Firewall and Switch Setup and Support
Provide Tier 2 desktop and application support, including new user setups, line of business application support, and hosted application support
Produce, maintains and update technical documentation
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years of relevant/related IT experience
Previous experience with supporting multiple external clients
Notable skills a candidate should possess:
PC - Windows 7, 8 & 10
Mac - OS X (current versions of OS)
Hardware - Desktop, Laptop, Server, Peripherals
Microsoft Office
Networking equipment
Wireless Configurations - 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz, Channel Usage
Network Printers and Scanners
Windows Server - 2008 to 2016
TCP/IP Configuration
Virtualization
Ticketing System (PSA)
